Corden's Storyline - The Weapon of Mass Sith Destruction

Operative Nyx' Journal

I had some strange dreams during the night that disturbed me deeply.  I decided to take the day to leave the station and Sith space for some rest and relaxation on a beach.  I took the dogs and Beskar'ad with me and we headed out to the beach for most of the day, returning to the station to examine the box that we had retrieved from the Kyr'tsad (Death Watch Mandalorians) and discovered the light sided weapon had been fully assembled into a giant metallic sphere.  Unfortunately, after hours of careful examination and manipulation, the device would not activate.  I thought it was broken or assembled incorrectly, and that is when Corden (@Corden_Maximus) suggested that I read the data I had received from Jedi Master Mischel Deese to see if there were clues I had previously missed.  Of course I had poured over the data and holos for hours and knew it line by line, but there was one part I had inadvertantly missed.  But essentially the device was called a KanyeSoliel.  I have no idea what a "Kanye" is but I do know "soliel" is an ancient term to describe a "sun" or "star energy."  Under the assumption that this device charges when near a solar or star energy source, I asked Corden load it into his ship, the Ne'tra Werlaara.

It was at that time I decided to find a test subject for the light side weapon, but I needed to get the weapon out of Sith space.  Tapping into the Heaven's Fires communication system, I was able to listen in on the conversation that Galen'tza (@Lord_Starkiller) and Savage (@Savage_Opress_) were having about Savage's search for his missing brother.  It was then I realized Savage would leave the safety of Sith space and this would be my one opportunity to test out the weapon.  Galen'tza ordered Galen (@The_Starkilla) to acompany Savage and we headed to the hangar just as they were getting ready to leave themselves.

Using the Ne'tra Werlaara, we followed them out of Sith space, and at that point, I went to check on the device. The moment I got near the sphere, a bolt of energy went from my hand into the sphere and it immediately activated.  As soon as it activated, it began to levitate in place and follow me wherever I went in the ship.  Upon nearing a solar system, the weapon seemed to have collected the energy of the nearby star and take on a subtle glow.

We followed Savage and Galen to Kalakar 6, a volcanic moon.  It was here that there was a warehouse and Savage's missing brother appeared.  The brother, however, fought against Savage and Galen and it was discovered that this was not the actual brother but an image.  It was at that point that I made my way to an outcropping of rocks and the light side weapon opened up a hole in the middle.  Corden questioned what I did next, but I simply inserted my arm into the middle of it, at which point it began to transform and several parts of it began rotating around my arm in different directions.  We watched the exchange as the image of Savage's brother dissipated and I steadied my arm with the transformed light weapon on it, a firing mechanism in my palm.  Corden asked what I thought the weapon would do, and I simply said it contained the pure creative energy of the light side, therefore it must do something utterly fantastic like give Savage "happy thoughts." Of course, this was purely a hypthoetical and for all I knew, it could simply blast Savage into oblivion.

It is always these moments, when seconds seem to be hours, that the reality of what was about to happen hits.  It is almost a "point of no return" and I began to feel sorry for what I was about to do.  Although I have not known Savage for very long, I feel a fondness towards him.  I know he is Sith but somewhere deep inside of his heart, there is a goodness that I feel.  I became aware of this in our interaction in the storeroom aboard the Heaven's Fires space station.  Even in my Forceless state, I could still feel it within him the desire to do good.  I am honored to say that I consider him my friend, and I almost put the weapon down at that point.  But then I started thinking of Galen'tza's brutality against my dearest friend, Yummy (@senator_yemaja), and my anger at the Sith returned.  Corden questioned my friendship with Savage, but I repeated that he was indeed a friend in every sense of the word.

At that moment as I steadied my arm, a white light portal opened up showing Yuuzhan Vong ships.  Savage, Galen, and Corden became alarmed at the sight.  And as soon as the portal appeared, it vanished and that's when I flicked my wrist back and fired the weapon at Savage.  He dropped immediately to the ground after a ball of light energy hit him, and I was hit immediately with overwhemling fear as soon as it fired.

This must be the reason why the weapon was never deployed before.  It seems that as "negative" as it would be for the Sith, it also has an extremely negative effect on the Jedi user.  The fear rocked my mind and my body beyond belief, something I had never experienced before.  Galen asked me to come out from the rocks, and I did.  For some reason, he was not effected by the blast and as I asked him to choose between coming back with Corden and I or helping Savage, he said he wished to remain as he was.  Galen took Savage to Savage's ship and set the autopilot away from Sith space.

It was during that time, the overwhelming fear took control of my body.  I couldn't bear it any longer and collapsed onto the floor.  I do not remember much after this point, but Corden says I began to shake violently.  Galen lifted me onto his shoulder and brought both me and the light side weapon (which had already transformed back to a levitating sphere beside me) to Corden's ship. It was there that I became unresponsive, continued violently shaking, and began to go into shock.  As Corden treated the physical symptoms, Galen stabilized my mind.  We returned to Heaven's Fires and I was laid on Corden's bed to rest, my precious light side weapon beside me.

Time elapsed and I finally regained consciousness.  Now, I realize after the fact that the weapon can indeed destroy the Sith but at a great price to the Jedi user.  I fear for those Sith that are inherently (and forever) evil, the weapon would destroy them completely.  For those Jedi/Sith that remain on the fence, or that dabble within both the light and darkness, there is hope that it can help make their decision towards the light.  But Jedi do not believe in death in this manner, so using the weapon is of upmost care.  It has been granted to me and I intend to only use it as a last resort.  Corden agreed to maintain the weapon's secrecy from Galen'tza.  Although Galen'tza has nothing to fear as it cannot be activated within the Sith space nexus.
