Background:
A terrorist/assassination organization (Sable Dawn) stationed out of Point Nadir, headed by Force Adepts, are seeking to destroy Cymmeron, a city located on Bactos II.  The ruling family on Cymmeron went bad on a debt to the Sable Dawn, thus the negative vibes between the two.  Maintaining good relations with their rival, the Epsis (a technologically-based terrorist organization stationed on Point Nadir) Sable Dawn was able to construct a nuclear fusion device.  This device was one of the few that was easily transportable and thus, could be hidden and transported without being detected by the Imperial scanners at the various trade routes/docks.
Act 1
Mon Mothma receives a report that a nuclear fusion device was being constructed on Point Nadir by the Epsis technocrat, Liash Keane.  Mon Mothma contacts Nyx to look into it. Nyx exits retirement and tells Corden Maximus she has to go on this mission.  Nyx argues with Corden to go alone, but he refuses to let her go on her own.  Reluctantly, she takes him along with her to Point Nadir and they infiltrate the compound of the Epsis.  While there, she accesses the console system and discovers that the nuclear bomb has already been transported to Cymmeron on Bactos II.  It is then that the security personnel find them in the lab and Corden takes them out.  They quickly leave and head towards Cymmeron.
Act 2
Nyx and Corden talk in the cockpit about the power of this nuclear device.  She explains how she can’t let the billions of innocent lives on Bactos II die.  Corden argues with her that she shouldn’t interfere in the affairs of others, and protect her own life.  He argues that she is potentially sacrificing her life for nothing, when these events happen all over the Galaxy.  That she can’t save everyone.  She argues that it is her duty and she won’t back down.  Reluctantly, he vows to protect her.
Act 3
Arriving on Cymmeron, she locates the bomb in the city’s aquaduct system, which the fallout would poison the city’s water supply for any survivors.  It is directly beneath the Palace and rigged to detonate within a matter of minutes.  It is bolted into the floor and she is unable to release it.  Virec Xan has a hologram appear from the bomb in which he tries to talk to her to say it is futile and to not involve her in the affairs of others.  She argues she won’t let it happen, that billions of lives in the city were in danger and that she won’t let them die.  Corden tries to argue as well.  She pleads with Virec to stop the countdown, but Virec refuses saying she and her friend will die.  Hologram disappears.  Within no recourse, Nyx says good-bye to Corden and surrounds herself in a Force Bubble  sealing herself with the device.  The device explodes and both she and it disappear immediately.  Corden realizes that was not normal that she disappeared and there is no radioactive material left behind.
